Tides Crossing began in 2006 as an online store selling new and vintage home decor.  With her passion for interior decorating and hosting parties, Denise turned Tides Crossing into the event rental business it is today.  She loves spending her free time at flea markets and tag sales hunting for special pieces that can be reused or repurposed and mixed with the current trends.  "There is something romantic about seeing a shiny modern candlestick on an old rustic door that's been turned into a dining table."  Her love of mixing the old and the new can be seen throughout her home and in the parties she often throws for family and friends.  "I have hosted many parties over the years and have found inspiration for food, atmosphere, and decor in unique items from various time periods.  Sometimes it's one single item that sets the tone for the entire event.  You never know where your inspiration will come from."  Her eclectic design approach and belief that classic pieces never go out of style are shown in the Tides Crossing collection.
